The Pasquali of Bormio

Easter Sunday 2025: Sunday 20 April!

Very ancient tradition of Bormio, born from an archaic ritual, the first testimonies date back to 1606,

where initially the tradition was linked to preparing and cooking a lamb to be distributed on Easter day in Kuerc square.

The Easter floats are heavy allegorical floats with a religious theme, carried on the shoulders of young people from the town, all dressed in the traditional Bormio costume. The parade crosses the entire Via Roma, starting at 10.00 am from Piazza V Alpini,

to end in Piazza del Kuerc where the works remain on display for a couple of days.

Pasquali are the Bormio way to celebrate Easter.
